It’s good to keep a check on how many calories you eat and the amount that goes in. it is important to follow diet that is low on sugar and carbohydrates diet, stay away from starchy vegetables like potatoes, sweet potatoes and other root vegetables, as well as large servings of fruits, dried fruits and fruit juices. Choose fruits and vegetables that contain less sugar and fewer carbohydrates to get the fiber, vitamins and minerals you need.

It’s always better to avoid food and drinks that contain added sugar as high sugar ends up with high calories.

If you are already planning to follow a diet, eat healthy and to stay away from high calories, I suggest you to include 1/2cup of fresh berries in your diet. This is because berries have lower sugar content when compared to other fruits. It has been proven that when compared a serving of fruits 1/2 cup of raspberries has only 2.7 grams of sugar and strawberries has 3.5 grams of sugar. Blueberries with about 7.4 grams per 1/2 cup, but this is still less than half serving of any other fruit like for instance, banana has 14.4 grams of sugar, a medium sized apple has 18.9 grams of sugar and  a mango is in the highest place with 23.0 grams of sugar.

Today, we want to introduce to a mouthwatering, extremely tasty and promisingly healthy shake that would take you about 5 minutes. The drink will surely become a signature!

  • To serve 3 people
  • 200 gms Strawberries
  • 3 cups milk
  • Honey (according to your taste)
  • ½ cup fresh cream
  • Mint leaves for garnish
  • Take handful fresh strawberries, about 200 grams, honey or any natural sweetener and blender them for a minute then add the ½ cup milk and make a rough puree.
  • After you get a thick puree, add the remaining milk and blend it again.
  • Refrigerate in for 10 to fifteen minutes, and serve it with fresh whipped cream and a mint leaf.
  • Sip in the exotic drink and thank you later!
